SM-G610F IMEI Repair problem [Answered] - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I am trying to repair IMEI of G610F with Octopus Samsung Tool. It is giving error. Set is on Android Nougat 7.0 but I have downgraded Modem to 6.0.1. Baseband is Unknown and this is Log.

Hello.

You have downgraded phone's firmware and as a result baseband became "Unknown" - modem part is damaged and is not working:

It it impossible to repair IMEI, if modem is not working. Try to write another firmwares and check, whether modem part is not unknown, and olny then (when modem part will be correct), try to repair IMEI.

Actually, before downgrade, Baseband was still Unknown. I have flashed latest 3 firmwares but the problem was still the same then I downgraded modem. Can it be HW issue?

Here can be a few reasons of this problem - HW problem or Software problem - EFS/Security is damaged or written incorrect/unsuitable firmware.
