Hello.

Please install latest Software version, reinstall FTDI drivers and restart PC.

Repeat "Write Cert" operation after PC restart. Try to use different Samsung C3300k/C3303k micro UART cable with 525-530kOm resistor for connection. Try to use another box as UART interface.

hi, right ive sorted the not attempting to write cert file. octopus does now finally go to write the cert, most of them on the support site fail though, but 2 of them do write successfully but dont work in the uk lol i guess its just a case of trying to locate a good cert file for the uk now
but thanks for your help, i really appreciate it

great, i fix 1 problem, now confronted with another.
after trying several cert files i could lay my hands all most will work and i can make and receive calls, but the phone only get a very week 1 bar signal no matter where i take the phone, i have tried different sim cards from different operators but still the same. the phone is mint and never had any damage so i dont see the need to open it up. so i figure it must be a software issue? has anyone got any ideas lol?

Please make a Factory Reset and reflash the phone, then check, whether phone receives signal normally.
