Pretty sure you could use N900P in the software. READ AROUND. It's not as easy as wiping the EFS and writing a CERT. Since these phones (N900P and N900V) are CDMA phones the method may differ from GSM models.

I'm stupid. I meant to type G900P and G900V, not N900P and N900V.

All Sprint phones have way too much security on them regarding the SIM lock. I know that on the L720 it was held in NV item 10124. Wipe the EFS, and the item still had 00, so the phone was still locked. The only way was to alter that item. I assume the item is now changed over RIL, but can't verify it seeing as though I don't have a L720 anymore (I traded for a G900P) and the newer modems aren't capable of reading that NV item over any CDMA tool program. I wonder if it moved into a higher NV item range and is transposed to 10124 (IE: change 00 in Nv item X to 01 and upon reboot it changes back to 00, but changes 10124 to 01. This change wouldn't be perceived as anything other than "my item change didn't work" when it actually did. This theory would take a long time to test I'd think).
