Member: 527046 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 97 | SM-G935T unlock question [Answered] I tried to unlock it but octoplus SW ask for root, and i did not find eng root for bit 8. I have flashed Eng modem thinking that itīll help me with unlock but was useless. And Octoplus SW gives me another advice too. Quote:

Member: 527046 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 97 | Just for info. G935T 8.0.0 bit 8 (security patch 01/12/2018) can not be unlocked with octoplus at the moment. It can not be rooted using twrp, cf autoroot, etc., engroot for bit 8 is not available yet (some pages sells the file in 80 usd) and octoplus SW always will ask for root. If you try to flash combination FW you can brick your phone, like me. So the more secure way is using another option like "device unlock app" paid services.
