SM-J120A newest 6.0.1 (J120AUCU5ARA1) version unlock question [Answered] - GSM-Forum

I tried all possible unlock features on READ CODES and DIRECT UNLOCK button but still no success. Tried to find root no luck for this version. tried to do the combination file still no luck.

When I tried o downgrade to downgrade to APJ1 or any supported MODEM firmware that can be read or unlock the modemfirware become UNKNOWN so I have to re-flash the original ARA1 software again.

Please install the latest Software version 2.7.7.1 (https://octoplusbox.com/en/download/software/), write proper full regular (normal) firmware and try to repeat "Read Codes" operation again. Post here full Software log.

Upon using latest version of octopus samsung 2.7.7.1 the other two button for unlocking via code ( without credits ) always gives same error /denied reading unlock code but using paid credit service and cost 20 credits. is this possible to unlock without credits? is old phone with 6.0.1 version just that ARA1 version.

There are three methods to Read Codes available for this device, which one exactly You are trying to use?! Does your device request for Unlock code?

YEs, this phone ask for unlock code! ( J120A AT&T branded ) The only worked is the read unlock code (WITHOUT ROOT via ADB interface)

and needed to pay 20 credits. ive done this with COMBINATION file.
As you can see on the second reading unlock code method via DIAG port it tells me to do the combination unlock code but still error.

Please, try to write different combintaion firmwares, unfortuantely, no other solutions for this device.

Do u have one that u recommend?
Because I got the comb firm that I know is compatible for this newest firmware only ( I flash the ARA1 combination too ) I'm afraid that it might have issue if I use other combination that is not for this particular ARA1 firmware
