SM-J730F IMEI question [Answered] - GSM-Forum

Hi all, i doo frp reset on j7 2017 sm-j730F, but after that, octoplus do not show imei when i click on read info button. I olso tryed on more gsm tools, but imei not reed. When i dial *#06# the phone show normaly imei for sim 1 and sim 2?
Also, i tryed imei fix with octoplus, but i received message imei write failed? After that i tryed fs fix, but this button is unavailable.

So there is no problems with IMEIs. Just in some cases Software may not read IMEI from the device.

Ok, now i tryed change imei, and i received message imei write failled? Phone is rooted.

"Repair IMEI" is not supported for Android 8.x firmwares for this device model.

Ok, if i repair or change imei on 7.xx i muststay on it, or i can flash oreo normaly, and new imei are permanently stored on fs partition?
