Hello, if you read the error on the phone screen

failed to mount/cache efs invalid argument

you have the efs damaged for that the phone does not start.

to restart it in normal mode you have to write the efs through octopus software if supported, or using odin in ap mode

Yes, if you have a backup of the j730f efs in tar format you can write it by putting the phone in download mode or with octopus software if the writing of the efs is supported or using odin by selecting the voice ap

Similar problem with corupted efs

Hi! I have a similar problem, after flashing latest stock FW (J730FXXU3BRJ1_J730FMOT3BRJ1_MOT.zip) I get recovery bootloop, first is doing update system, after second boot I only see NO COMMAND with android ! mark.

After flashing EFS-SM-J730F-18-04-2018_10-59-20.tar I get:
(se pic)

There is another problem, somehow OEM lock went back, so I cannot flash custom recovery thos custom system.

I tried COMBINATION_OXA_FA70_J730FXXU3ARI1_OXAFAC_CL128616 01_QB19739866_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar
This is the only system that I can boot with OEM lock ON, but here there is no OEM unlock option in developer options, I only get limited ADB with no ROOT functionality...

Any ideas?

Tnx
Grga

Hello, try to select another model other than j730f from octopus software which provides drk repair, install the combination and repair the drk.

using the uart cable to repair the drk and selecting a model that provides the repair drk via uart cable.

reading your post and the photo you posted previously of the j730f phone the problem was the error drk after you wrote the efs, you wrote in the post that you tried to make the root but it was impossible because of the blocked oem, then you're managed to do the fix of the drk by doing the root or using another method is another matter.

I wrote you try to repair the drk via cable uart selected another model because j730f is not supported by octopus for repair drk, nothing else.

You have now posted the octopus software log where it is written that you have the unknown baseband (modem) and are two different things to have the error drk.

If you want to fix the baseband you do not have many alternatives, I try to flash the different binary 3 firmware and see if the baseband is correct or use the combination if these two solutions do not lead to a resolution of the baseband repair, you could have the security of the phone damaged, but unfortunately for j730f the repair of security or writing security backup is not supported or it may be a hardware problem of the phone

No hardware fault, I had to erase EFS manually, from custom recovery, now it works fine...

If something is not supported it shoud be greyyed out, we are all loosing time not knowing if some function is working or not...

The Write Cert same as Repair IMEI operations aren't supported on this Android version.
