II.
  • Press [2] UE SETTING & INFO
  • Press [1] SETTINGS
  • Press [4] GCF
  • Set [1] GSM/(E)GPRS/WCDMA GCF to ON

After these actions go to Settings -> Mobile Networks and Set Network Mode to Automatic, or GSM.

I also noticed when it's installing the Service App, OctoSprint suddenly says FAIL then restarts the phone and I still get invalid SIM, i didn't down grade or anything as it was already at 5.1.1. I do not know what is going on but I am sure you guys are hard at work at fixing it and hope there is a way to unlock it without having to root it.

Hello everyone
I have a note 5 n920p device after upgrading the version to 7.0 the device is no longer able to get to know the sim card and show me the message invalid SIM card
I do not know why, knowing that the device was working normally before the update.
Attached Images of the device

Please perform "Unlock" operation and check whether GSM/(E)GPRS/WCDMA GCF is enabled in your phone. Necessary steps are described in previous posts. Try to find and select network manually after these actions.

An easier way to enable GCF is by writing 1 to NV 0x03B3
I usually send the 16digit Sprint password: 2012112120131219
And the SPC read by uart without root.

0947 (0x03B3) - OK
