SM-P605v Verizon unlock - GSM-Forum

Hello,
Is it possible to unlock the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 SM-P605v by Verizon?
Mine is on 5.1.1
I tried to follow the instructions but unfortunately there is no dialling function in the device, and even in the recovery menu there is no possibility to change the connectivity settings

Most devices form Verizon, They come unlocked already

On mine, there is a message "SIM card is not from Verizon Wireless", there is the "3G" mark near the antenna symbol, but can not connect to the internet. So I think it's locked.

Hmm... It shows like a big simple calculator on fullscreen, tried to enter the codes *#0808# *#7294# *#9090# but nothing happens...

Try to reflash the tab. Check whether Dialer will be available, or whether it could be enabled by "trick" from previous and try to access Diag Config menu from it (*#0808# / *#7284#).

Can I downgrade the tab? At the moment there's 5.1.1, vhat version would you recomment to downgrade without losing IMEI? Thx!

P.S. Should I choose a Verizon firmware or I can install other brand/ unbranded version? Is the model 605v compatible with other models/letters?

We recommend not to downgrade firmware version of the tab. Downgrading can damage the device. Android 5.1.1 firmware for SM-P605V is available in the Support Area.

No, there is no firmware for P605V in the Support, there is no SM-P series firmware, that's why I was asking for different versions.

Please check the Support Area again, or search for "P605VVRUDOH2_P605VVZWDOH2_VZW_Android_5.1.1" in Files Downloader (can be opened by pressing "Files Downloader" button from "Support & options" tab of the Software.

I flashed the tab with the FW downloaded from Support (2Gb instead of 1,5Gb of FW downloadable for Odin), there still is no dial tab on the menu. I dialled the "magic" code to get into Factory Mode, tried to dial all possible combinations but no response... Even for *#06#
Then, I noticed that going to the "Android/ EFS Manager" of the suite I can read the tab info

You managed to read tab's info via ADB, but can Software can't communicate with it via diagnostic port.

Try to make "Enable DIAG", then try to read tab's info from "Main" tab of the Software.
