I was going to order the octopus box, but i realized that they aren't shpping it to USA anymore. Is there a difference between the OCTOPUS and OCTOPLUS box? Will it use the same software?

octoplus = octopus + medusa box, all in one

Yes man, is a better box. Use the same software, but has support for medusa box, that allow to do other things.
It is a great option

Octoplus adds JTAG functions at Octopus Box
But are diferent because of box Hardware witch already has JTAG Ports and is able to use latest Medusa and Medusa Pro SW.
Also with Octoplus you have or can have fully Octopus Functions
Samsung/LG/SE and server services

Hello.

The main difference between Octoplus and Octopus boxes is that Octoplus box has JTAG interface.
Both boxes use the same Software.
