Member: 1713296 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 67 | What is reset MSL and why we use it I have some questions about reset /bypass msl, What is the purpose of this and why we use it? 2nd, is it necessary to root phone before reset frp, ee or samsung account? thanks regards |

Member: 1146942 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1587278 Thanks Meter: 27,389 | Hello. "Reset MSL" operation can be used instead of "Wipe Security", in order to write a Cert file. Root is not required to perform "Reset FRP/Reactivation/EE" operation. |

Member: 1713296 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 67 | meaning after reset msl imei will be changed to deafualt like 00045500000 or 350000006 , right? is it necessary to root before reset msl? plus 1 samsung phone came to me which connect pc only 1 time but not again, someone told me that reset msl and it will be ok, is it true? but dont want to change its imei |

You can try to make "Revoke USB debugging authorizations" (option in Developers options menu, right under "USB Debugging") if You have issues with connection. We can't say for sure, that "Reset MSL" operation will aid with such issue. Root is not required for "Reset MSL" operation. |
