Member: 1105429 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 118 | Why does Octopus box have to use another box's UART interface for some procedures I'm just curious to get an answer why does this excellent tool have to use another box's interface sometimes when performing certain procedures. what if someone does not have another box? is it the software? or the computer setup? is there a way to solve this issue? this is NOT a complaint, but trying to figure out this glitch to improve... THANK YOU.. |

Member: 1105429 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 118 | Com port does work.. it works fine when we do the Samsung S4 IMEi.. which requires UART the second step.. it just won't work correctly on certains procedures. for example, N910T Cert Write, will not write.. N915T cert will not write.. but I tried M919 IMEI repair, COM port works fine.. So, I'm just stumped on if it's the software, my pc setup, or the BOX itself? |

Rememeber yesterday you were helping figure out why it didn't work? I uninstalled the octopus box CoM port, and it worked with the z3X COM PORT. | |

Member: 1105429 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 118 | PORT # is selected correctly. OCTOPUS UART PORT 1, and during searching for the phone, it is searching on that port, but it does not find the phone, or in the example of Note 3, it will find phone, but will fail to write the IMEi successfully. Does anyone else have issues with this problem? or am I the only one? |

Member: 1105429 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 118 | Does anyone else have this same issue? Where the com port fails to write the certain, but will work for imei repairs on the Samsung s4 M919 or I337? I'm trying to determine what my problem is. If box problem, I can get new one and transfer the activation.. If pc problem, maybe someone who had similar issues can help me out by pointing me to the direction of the problem? |
