What the heck does enter NCK mean?

My very old Philips 168 this morning when I turned it on has asked me to enter NCK. It has never asked me to enter this before in the 6 years I have had it. Does it mean it is now dying or what? Can someone help?

It means that it is locked. As how it got in that state don't ask.

As the saying says.... **** happens!

Just read the code off the phone and enter the network code.

Read what code off the phone and enter what network code. I am sorry but I am a little lost as to what all this means. I am not that bright when it comes to these things.

Thanks for your reply though even though you have baffled me.

Cheers
Paul
