How to identify each htc phone model - GSM-Forum

I have not been able to use my xtc clip due to the fact that i am enable to identify each model of HTC phone brought to me by my customers. Some of them have security code and one cannot enter settings to know the model of the htc to load the appropriate software to unlock the phone. I need full tutorial on this subject-matter.

Whenever you get the HTC phone. And if you dont know the model. You can remove battery and check the model number then google for that.thats the easiest way to find the model of htc.

For Android htc phones, simply remove and insert battery, press and hold volume down and power, you will be in bootloader, on top you should see eg "shooter, pyramid, runnymede" etc.
