when i did both of my phones,i had just run RUUs,so there was no user data present.

a friend wants me to unlock his phone,but i need to figure out if it will wipe all his data nad require everything to be redownloaded and re-set up.

i know i have seen this information somewhere,but cannot find it currently

also tried a search and no info came up.

FYI i have now done 2 htc thunderbolts,and both of them did not lose any data during the flash. cant say this will apply in all cases.
