E1752 voice call issue - voice FIX


Issue: voice call successful but no voice or mic when calling - fixed with MKEY


Dear supporter and members,

file:
E1752_11.126.07.04.00_under-test_128MB
should have removed now "under-test" note - I tested it and nothing wrong, dongle after programming works fine.

I was looking for solution to do voice activation. Loaded many firmwares without positive result, on the end found bug in NV, even after activating voice with AT command (or with MKEY which is easier), voice is obviously activated, and if I check it with AT, yes, it's enabled, however if I try make voice call, it's calling but no voice at all, can't hear person, and He can't hear me.

Now, I spent all day (and night) thinking about Mobile Partner, laptop mic&speakers... no, it's NV bug, after programming attached NV file which personally I taken from E1550 with already voice activated&sound working + 7.2Mbit activation everything is straight fine, just like that, under same laptop, same Mobile Partner.
To make sure I loaded back original E1752 NV and sound lost, so it's 100% NV related problem.

Dear supported, please add this file to support if You can, this maybe valuable in case if someone would use E1752 with voice calls as looks like just voice activation may be sometimes not enough. Device was originally locked to network, with branded Orange dashboard, looks like no one touched it before, I unlocked it via code, so couldn't negative affect NV area. I know that there are already some NV files for this dongle. But my one is fully tested now and working for voice FIX.

3. select comport at PC UI interface
4. Read info
5. Enable option act.Voice
6. Press Unlock

All done.

But, your dashboard must be supported Voice features.

Thanks for message, I done it already, dashboard is voice supported and this:

is not working, it says OK, but really is not OK. But this is working fine for units with fault in NV:

1. Run Mkey
2. select Huawei_MDM
3. select comport at PC UI interface
4. Read info
5. Enable option act.Voice
6. Press Unlock
7. Read info
8. Write NV: 11.609.20.00.00_all_e1550-voice_FIX_for_E1752.rar

When You get E1752 dongle with bug in NV, then Mkey will report voice activated successful, and is, voice call is working in dashboard, just when You make a call there will be no sound.

This is not Mkey problem, this is not Dashboard problem, this is NV itself problem inside some E1752,

I hope this solution will help others
