Huawei E5172 BRICKED!! - GSM-Forum

Hi all.

After trying to change the firmware from E5172, i´ve bricked the router. In upgrade, the 4G strengh LEDS stopped in 4th. After reset, all LEDs come up. Tried press reset button + wps + wifi, nothing changes.

After connecting the serial port and USB port directly in module, I have this logs:

There´s a way to unbrick this router?

soldering it. tx rx gnd +5v .and attach gnd+bootpin . load usbloader.bin
and write fw with mkey dongel simple.if you have any isshue then pm me.

I don´t have mkey dongle. I tried to use b953 usbloader and it boots, but presents some errors.

Anyone have the E5172e usbloader bin? I have a good knowlegde in VxWorks RTOS.

did you manage to solve it because i flashed the E5172 with another boot from another model and now all leds are on nothing is working ... and nothing is detected . i think only solution is through jtag / serial port .
and the boot point also is not working.

Solution only in mkey

You using (balong flash exe free tools which not support e5172 flashing
Mkey support all e5172 dead and flashing
Your issue only resolve mkey only

Dear user, our solution work only with Mkey dongle, and if you dont have. Mkey , then you cant use our software. And all our files are compatible only for Mkey software !
