LG MetroPCS unlock question [Answered] - GSM-Forum

I bought my lg phone from metropcs and I now wanted to unlock it with mobile device and it says that its not eligible to be unlocked by mobile app please which means can i use to unlock it. Please help

Hi.

What is your LG device model exactly? You can unlock LG MPCS device in case You will root it, please look here: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f699...l#post12995969.

To unlock LG MPCS devices do the following:

1. Root the device.
2. Go to "LG" tab in Octoplus Suite Software.
3. Select proper model from the list in the Software.
4. Press "TMB Unlock" button.
5. Follow the Software instructions

the model is lg k20 plus with android version 7.0 i have tried to root it time and again but yet not successful. please give me some guide lines of how to root if posible

yes this is what happen when i launch my octoplus lg this message pop up octoplus lg is not activated on the current card. then when i try to update they ask for activation string. meanwhile octoplus samsung is working well. so please guide me let me activate it
