means, that there is a latest firmware version in your device and it doesn't allow to read HWID from the phone to calculate codes. In this case You need to write modem (modem part only!) from proper Combination firmware or, if possible, write older regular firmware version and then perform "Read Codes" operation. After codes will be read out successfully, just re-flash the device with proper regular firmware (or only with proper modem part of regular firmware).
