Clone to Gold Card??? - GSM-Forum

Is it still possible to clone a SIM to a Gold card? I have ICProg, and TwinSim 1.0.0. I already have my KI and IMSI and I'm using a Prolific USB-Serial PL2303 SIM card adapter.

I was able to generate HEX files with SimEmu but those are for silver/green cards. TwinSim generates HEX files with checksum errors, but even after they are corrected, ICProg will write to the 16C84 but fails when it tries to access the 24LC16. So I tried NTPicProg to write to the 24LC16; the red light goes on on the reader/writer but it does not appear to write anything to the Gold card.

I REALLY want to clone my SIM to a Gold card because the phone I want to use does not accept 64k SIMs and the 32k Gold card is the only one that will work. if it helps, my gold cards have the little alpha "A" on them. I bought them from Pulsat.

Do I need another writer, or what can I do??
