If the card would be yours, YOU would be the network owner and could define any KI as the one to be used. However, your network operator would not know the Ki neither, they have no access to it. Its like the password at the ATM's, if you loose them, they issue you a new Bank-card but they would never tell you the stored password.

I have 2 contracts where directly stated that the initial payment INCLUDES the cost of SIM-card (+ some other items). I do not rent simcards - i buy them. Moreover, i've heard that one network provider in Sweden sells Ki to its abonents. Unfortunately - i've got no references.

2. This link is not useful for me: i have about twenty active contracts of different providers, regions ant countries. The texts of some contracts state the property on SIM-cards, some other - do not, and some (namely NWGSM-MegaFon) - undoubtly say that i've bought my SIM-card, that SIM-card is my property. That's why i wrote above - "depends on". Still awaiting for an answer in adjacent thread (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...=106340&page=2)

Member: 9824 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 79 | sbog, you are right. Actually this link was more dedicated for the thread starter as I had written that usually the sim-card is not your property. As you replied stating the opposit I wanted to point you on some contracts (actually most have the same content as those in the link). Don't take it personal, we are all here to learn new things, so better let us concentrate on how to get on with the real problems like getting those V2's. regarding the other post, I have nothing to add. Good luck m8 ch@in |
