The V2 cards in Germany and the UK are a bit harder to crack. We could develop a product to crack the code, but it would take thousands of dollars of investment and the product would be just to expensive for the average consumer.

I hope this is helpful.

What do u mean "v128-vi cards"? comp 128-v6?? Never heard of it.
And of course the v2 can be cracked but it needs specifications and
only telecos and developers of phone may purchase this from gsm
authorities.

Depend the version of SIM Card which is deliverd by Service Provider. Some of service providers in all contries delivers SIM Card version 1 (Comp128 V1) for low-end Market (eg, Prepaid Card) so you can use SIM Doctor or other solution to read those SIM.
For hignd-end Market, all of service providers deliver SIM Card version 2 and 3 for customers. There's still no way to use any SIM reader (eg SIM Doctor)
to read those SIM.

Thanks for this information!

An other question: exists a software wich checks the version of sim-card --> v1 or v2? but without risk of destroying it?

Hi! I have a question about comp128v2.
Made in China! It called SimDoctor.
http://myweb.hinet.net/home3/simtool/

This program can (or can't?) cloning SIM with comp 128v2.
And it can change the GSM algorithm of the Multinumber SIM to A3/A8 V1 or A3/A8
V2. And I can to read v1 sim with phoenix device + simscan. Is it
true?

SIM Doctor 6
User’s Manual (from SimDoctor 6.2.0.2)
http://www.gsm-security.net/papers/manualsimdoctor.pdf

.....

B. MultiNumber Special Command …………………… P.8
.....
a. SIM KI Teller:
...
b. Emerge SIM Card:
...
c. Modify PIN/PUK:
...
d. Change GSM Algorithm: !!!!!
Change the GSM algorithm of the Multinumber SIM to A3/A8 V1 or A3/A8
V2.
....

But SIMDOCTOR v6.2.0.2-v6.6.0.0c can't change GSM algorithm!!! This
option will be destroyed. I need old version this program, maybe
v5.1.0.0. Do you have it? Can you send it to my mail?

Best regards, John.

PS Sorry for my english.
