fatal error?(sim_scan) - GSM-Forum

hello

i have set cwsdmpi.exe -p
and than i have do sim_scan
com port and al that stuf is ok
he startup but wen I press F5(in the menu) then i see this:

Fatal Error: Memory allocation error !
c:\sim_scan

what does that mean?

are you runing in pure DOS?

how can I run XP under pure dos?

you can run SIMSCAN with xp installed. For that you need to have your HDD in formated FAT32(or a Partition in FAT32)because DOS only works in FAT 16/32 and not in NTFS(win XP/2k/NT..sistem default)
Put simscan in your HDD (ou partition in FAT32)
Boot from a bootdisk Win9x..go to simscan directory..and run it
