Hi.
Is it possible to restore and undelete even some portion of recently deleted sms from sim card? As I know this card is comp2 card, so I don't know is it possible or not? I have sim doctor and dejan sim scan hardware.

My younger sister accidentially deleted all my importand messages from sim card,

Hi,

The SMS of the SIM are deleted full, no "mark" with deleted (like the files of computer). I afraid you can´t recover this info...

You can see this file with XSim. This record are a FF FF....

I think is possible to unerase sms
I have made it with Leer_SMS.xvb modifyed by me
the program don't read sms deleted (there is a byte like computer file that mark it erased), but with some mod the script work and read all data...
then modify this byte and rewrite on the sim.

work for me in some case.

Hi,

You are Sure that all terminals works in this way...???? Perhaps, some terminals erase all SMS...

You must think that you need save all record in the file....

You have reason, seems it depend from terminals, I have used various models long time ago, but I don't remember who erase or not all data.
I have made this experiments when I upgrade from old to new version of SIM_EMU...

It depends on phone models, some make a full erase and another only mark the status byte.

I used WinExplorer4.6,an hex editor and phoenix/smartmouse compatible reader for the hardware.
I have modified one row in the script Leer_SMS.xvb present in the SIM_EMU
package (Tnx SIMEMU for your good work)
You need to change one byte for sms (if there are datas...) and write back.
I send you the script.

Hi,

You can´t read the Pin or Puk of the SIM card. There isn´t any APDU command in the GSM card.

We can reset the PIN1 in some card of one manufactured, using undocumented APDU commands. But this is not valid for all cards.
We are working to break the PIN control, but for the moment there isn´t any avaible.

However this thread is a little "off-topic" for this .... isn´t it?

Does anyone know how to make this tool work? I have a infinity phoenix wich works well to read sim cards via 3rd party software.

But i cannot manage to start the software with my laptop (xp) on the command prompt....i have this error: "the smart card service is not running" !!

Does the command prompt (dos) not support adapters serial/usb?
