Mathmatics of A3A8 algorithm - GSM-Forum

Dear all,
I need to know how they do attacks on A3A8 different rounds different than round 2 ( I have wrote algorithm for round2), if someone has the mathmatics of these , How to implement this algorithm to find Ki with different rounds , as per my findings , you can't gaurantee to find collision when doing Round 2 calculations, sometimes with all random possibility u can't find collision ....I mean for special bytes i , i+8 , i+16,i+24 ....

Kindly to help me understanding butterfly and why 7 bit is used in round 2 and how we can use it in Ki finding...

Hi,

I understand that you need this for COMP128 v1. isn´t?
The COMP128 v2/v3 haven´t any problems of collisions....
