Arrow Missing eeprom.hex for Silver, in Sim-Emu 6.00s?

I downloaded Sim-Emu 6.00, and configured for silver card (6.00s), BUT... eeprom file SIM_EMU_EP_6.00.hex is for Green2 card. How to find eeprom file for silver card?

So, I returned to Sim-Emu 5.00.

I'm using Dejan's programer silver_p.exe with Dejan's shematic.

One more questions (for simemu): I want to set SIM provider name (Menu + Sim-emu-5.00 + Configure + Number #) to be ONLY name on display. Where to pach .hex files?

@pisac
Efectively, the external EEPROM file is the same for the 3 versions.

The other question, I don't understand it.

ETSI GSM 11.11 v6.2.0 (1997) Specification of the SIM-ME interface.pdf

10.3.11 EFSPN (Service Provider Name)
This EF contains the service provider name and appropriate requirements for the display by the ME.
Identifier: '6F46' Structure: transparent Optional
File Size: 17 bytes Update activity: low
Access Conditions:
READ ALWAYS
UPDATE ADM
INVALIDATE ADM
REHABILITATE ADM
Bytes Description M/O Length
1 Display Condition M 1 byte
2 - 17 Service Provider Name M 16 bytes
- Display Condition
Contents: display condition for the service provider name in respect to the registered PLMN (see
GSM 02.07 [3]).
Coding: see below
Byte 1:
b8 b7 b6 b5 b4 b3 b2 b1
b1=0: display of registered PLMN not required
b1=1: display of registered PLMN required
RFU (see subclause 9.3)
- Service Provider Name
Contents: service provider string to be displayed
Coding: the string shall use either
- the SMS default 7-bit coded alphabet as defined in GSM 03.38 [12] with bit 8 set to 0. The string shall be left
justified. Unused bytes shall be set to 'FF'.
- one of the UCS2 code options defined in Annex B.

-------

So, I have (long time ago) used Dejan's verison of software for Silver card, then I changed his version, added some useful funcions (for example PIN/PIN2/PUK/PUK2, different SMSC for every number, different PLMNsel, FPLMN, ACM, PIN....) and different PROVIDER NAME - most useful function!

But, SimEmu is even better... Only thing that I don't like is that registered PLMN is showed all time, along with my PROVIDER NAME. I want only my PROVIDER NAME (for example PISAC-1, PISAC-064, GORAN) to bi showed on display, and not registered PLMN (MOBITEL, VODAFONE, ORANGE...).

I must reset bit 1 of byte 1 of file 6F46 for every provider position. Because I don't have source code of SimEmu, I need information where to patch .hex file?

I'm using Dejan's programming software (silver_p.exe) with Dejan's programmer, and work perfect (with SimEmu5.00). But, when I try to program SimEmu6.00, eeprom file is 8000 (32KB) long, and Dejan's programmer load whole file over 2000 (8KB) eeprom of silver card, and card don't work.

I cannot use ICPROG with Dejan's programmer (or I can?).

@simemu

... at address 065F, but in eeprom for SimEmu5.00 or 6.00 or both?

Also, are in eeprom stored 8 (10) succesive SPN files for 8 (10) provider positions (8 x 17 Bytes)?

Must I change addresses 065F, 0670, 0681, 0692,.... , 06d6 (06f8), or all SPNs use common first byte on address 065F?

Thanks

In dejan's software modifyed by me, I organised 8 SPN's in eeprom (source code):

-----------------------------

EF_6F46 ;PROVIDER NAME
;ZA SVAKOG PROVAJDERA POSEBNO
de 00h, "GORAN",0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0F Fh,0FFh,0FFh
de 00h, " TELEKOM SRBIJA "
de 00h, "SANDRA",0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0 FFh,0FFh
de 00h, "GORAN *********",0FFh
de 00h, "ProMonte",0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh, 0FFh
de 00h, "02 OFF LINE",0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh
de 01h, "04 CELL TEST",0FFh,0FFh,0FFh,0FFh
de 00h, "81 TYPE APPROVAL"

------------------------------

As you can see, in this organisation I must change first byte for every provider name (position), if I want provider name to be shown with or without registered PLMN.

In this example, number 7 (Provider name "O4 CELL TEST") is shown along with name of Network connected ("MOBTEL" or any...). Rest of provider names are shown without registered PLMNs

The description of the positions are used for the SPN, and they are located in flash.

Use the "Edit #" menu to put the data you want.
