Member: 2186823 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | new chip to old chip i've got a problem and i hope you sim/gsm pro's can help me. my car has a built-in phone which i'd really like to use so i got myself an extra-sim/second-sim. however the chip on this new sim is slightly smaller than the older sim's which the car is able to read - so i'm paying for the xtra-sim now but can't use it. i tried the old sim version as a friend of mine has one in his car and this one worked without any problems. i talked to my provider if i can get a sim with an old chip for my car however they don't have them anymore. my question now: is there a way to clone my small-chip-sim onto an old big-chip-sim? that would solve the problem. if not....are there any other solutions i could try? thank you very much for your help. best regards from Vienna cheers, Luke |
