Question 'phase 3' SIM

Hi, all:
Anybody can tell me: Are 'phase 3' SIM cards manufactured by GEMPLUS Ki extractable? If they are, is Dejan's Sim_scan 2.01 right tool to rip them out?
Thanx in advance.

Hi,

Depends of the authentication algorimth that this card have. The best procedure to determinate this is search the Ki with some program (SIMScan, Cardinal or XSim)

Regards,
Sir Graham.

Thanks!
Of course it's the practice that can give the final verdict! I am just wondering - anybody HAS sucessfull experience? If it's v.2 there's nothing to talk about yet BTW - is it possible simultaneous running of v.1 & v.2 by one provider?

Regards,
