Member: 1535340 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | SIM card with more space This is my first post in the forum and I have to say that a complete newbie about sim programing, cloning, ... If what I'm going to ask is too basic, please give me a link or post here a start guide or "Sim cloning for newbies" to help me understanding the basics :P Here goes the question: My sim card has space for 250 contacts, but I have much more than that in my cellphone. I wanted a SIM card that allowed, at least, 500 contacts. I've already read that it must be a 64K card to hold that number of contacts, right? The questions are, where can I get a card that supports 500 contacts (or more), and what do I need to transfer the information of my SIM card (number and/or operator data maybe) to that card. Thanks for those who read this. Best regards Joćo Norim PS: I didn't know if this was the correct section to post the thread... if not, please move this to the correct place. Thanks |

Member: 1535340 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks for the answer. Where can I get those items? I have here a simple sim card reader that I don't know if it can be used to do that... http://www.ngshopping.com/pictures/p...er_8534202.JPG It's like this one. I bought it for being a smart card reader, but it seems it can also read SIM cards. Regards |

Member: 15073 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | Hi, You can“t have a SIM card with more of 250/255 contacts. Although SIM is to 20TB. This is not a problem of space in the SIM. The problem is the index to access to this contacts is a 1 BYTE of size (protocol GSM 11.11). The only possibility is that different blocks had 250 contacts. But that would have to implement an STK menu and select the desired new block. Regards, Sir Graham. w w w . e n d o r a s o f t . c o m |
