Member: 66471 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | Tele2 SIMs here in Russia - are rather sofisticated: they have TWO valid PIN1 codes: if you enter normal PIN (say ABCD) you get normal behaviour in home network with IMSI that belongs to 250 20 (Russian Tele2) and no chance to roaming anywhere. But if you enter 1ABCD - (1+normal PIN1-code) - your card becomes swedish one! IMSI contains an info of some SIM of the 240 07 network. Ki - is unique for both - at least such cards result in the same Kc/SRES with the same RAND (i tryed about 10 RANDs - thats enough i believe). This second IMSI is used for rather cheap (affordable) call-back USSD roaming. You simply dial *147#some_number# and in 10-15 seconds receive an incoming call with the person some_number at the other end. As for Ki extraction - it's impossible by means of collision methods - our Tele2 cards are NOT COMP128v1. It could be easily shown: last 10 bits in GSM-Algo reply are not zeros as they should be in COMP128v1 with any RAND. Last edited by sbog; 07-31-2004 at 15:53. |
