I can give you only some general advises:

1st: Disable pin1 BEFORE starting programs like Woron Scan.
2nd: Make sure the phoenix reader is setup correct an the communication with the simcard is established (Com ports, Speed settings, external power available, card inserted correct into reader device,etc)
3rd: Don't restart the Ki reading multiple times as there is a limit on newer cards (around 38000 reading attempts until the card will get destroyed)
4th: Search in the Forum if your simcard has been cloned in the past and if it was a successfull extract. Some networks never have used Comp128V1 (like Vodaphone) so it wouldn't make sense to try to clone them at all.
5th: Use always the newest Versions of the Ki extraction software, some older software make not fully use of all known collision methods wasting attempts.
6th: Try to understand the error messages from the Ki-extraction software. Read the manuals and instructions about possible troubleshooting.
7th: Share your experience with the Sim-cloning community, somebody might know the answer to your questions

Woron quits immediately if the last 10 bits of the card respond to the RunGSMAlgo command are not zeros. We refer tol such cards as having v3 algo. In fact such cards are delivered by the providers (f.e. Tele2 SPb Russia). These cards have no 2R collision at no pair. and an asumption that all the pairs are from the non-collision-list also fails. Everyone could verify this since these cards have no A38 limit (immortal).

As for v1 and v2 - in fact Woron is unable to distinguish between them.

A38LIMIT: The number 38000 is wrong, the correct value is around 65000 attempts

no , a38 limited card can not reach 65000 retry. card will be blocked.

user have to set value lower, 25000 for example, if codes cant solv, then make it 30000 ,,,, after 45000 its a big risc.

You can only tell its V1 after a successfully extraction of KI. If you fail to get your KI you just know its not V1,

It's silly to set A38 value less than 31044 (the size of the table for the 2R-attack in WoronScan; SimScan probably uses another table but of the same (or near) size). One should use all possible attempts to test if the chosen pair (in SimScan - always number 0) could be discovered by 2R-attack.

Even less - because there is a certain probability that the pair you started from (as well as the second treated pair if you decided to continue and performed full 2R-attack) occured to be one of 769 "non-collision" pair.
