The SIM-EMU configurator does not read the STK menu, it only runs the SATK (Sim Application) resident in the SIM.

It uses the GSM 11.11 and GSM 14.11 commands to interact with the application the same way as the phone does.

You can obtain the full specifications here ftp://ftp.3gpp.org/Specs/

SIM-EMU supports all the T0 commands referred in GSM 11.11.
These are:

SELECT,STATUS,READ BINARY,UPDATE BINARY,READ RECORD,UPDATE RECORD,SEEK,INCREASE,VERIFY CHV,CHANGE CHV,DISABLE CHV,ENABLE CHV,UNBLOCK CHV,INVALIDATE,REHABILITATE,RUN GSM ALGORITHM,GET RESPONSE,TERMINAL PROFILE,ENVELOPE,FETCH and TERMINAL RESPONSE

I recommend you to study this rule and experiment sending all of these command using the scripter of last Cardinal.

You can use any GSM card (SIM-EMU card or any original SIM ) to see what respond.
Also, you can activate the Debug option of the PlugIn to see the handshaking.
