gb key not found! [Answered] - GSM-Forum

I tried to unlock vodafone 555 blue (alcatel v555x) by imei. When I start the software/initialization everything is OK, but then when I tried to unlock the phone I get the message (GB key not found) from the second image.

Hello,

Take out the smartcard and put in another smart card reader

If u r facing same prob
Use any Gemalto Reader

I tell you that the problem is not the reader, my pc win7 64 does not recognize the smart card, I have other boxes installed and all work, the error:8008 is repeated yet SN. of card reads it perfectly

Hello I have GBKEY and I use XP very well, but do not work in Windows 7, no driver install, it would be possible to develop the correct driver for Windows 7??

Do you have separate GB-Key or you have Activation for Infinity-Box ?

That's just when the software starts to read the smart card throws the error: 8008

I tried it with Jaf reader compatible with windows vista and works fine on my win7

I hope to fix soon, sure you can fix something in their software to run on win7

Win 7 x86 works fine...but still some X64 ver have some problem with Reader/drivers

As we do developp only SW, not the Readers Drivers, coz GBkey Scard can be used in any reader.
We'll try do some tests and try fix that ...
