Alcatel OT 282 got locked from unlocked [Solved] - GSM-Forum

Dear all,

I recently bought this Alcatel OT 282 for my father. It was unlocked and it was working in any network.
However, this week, something happened to the phone and it keeps asking for Network Key on the screen.

I already did a hard reset for it and it still asks for that network key.

Does this means it got locked ? Is there any way I could reset, reinstall the firmware on it just by using the usb cable ?

I am new to the forum and this is my first thread.

Here are some of the details of the phone in case this helps :
VERSION:
KMB3SOAO
CMB3CUAO
XMB3CUAO
SMB3S004
TMB3S013
HMB3SOAO

IMEI:
860503020179117

Your problem is normal that happen in some Alcatel models.
If you want to solve totally your case, then need do permanent unlock via cable... Other solution is memorize NCK as special pin etc, when phone ask you for network key, then enter.

I didn't had the time to test it yet, but as soon as I get home this evening I will go ahead with the test.
