How to connect Huawei Y530 for unlock - GSM-Forum

I am trying to unlock a Huawei Y530 but i am unable to connect the phone.

I am using windows XP and don't have windows 7.

The phone just charges when i connect the usb cable.

It doesn't ask for any drivers.

Yes, usb debug is enabled.

What am i missing here??

hello, This is Qualcomm device and to unlock this device, device must have stock (factory) firmware.

How to Unlock Huawei Y530 with ZZ Key

1. Disconnect all other USB devices, boxes etc
2. Usb Debugging must be ON
3. Install the adb driver for this device
4. Root the device first
5. Choose the correct device using zz software ie "Y530"
6. Plug the off device and wait until the driver install and diag port that it made
7. Choose the "Diag port" that device makes
8. Click on direct Unlock button.
9. Wait until the operation is completed
