Our solution connect directly to bootrom, if your phone is not hard problem zzkey can detect it with or without baterry.
Erase is supported for dead phone without hardware damage.

why used erasing with blackberry phone?
which condition phone use this option?
new security phone after erase damaged bootrom area?
bootrom rebuilding possible with new security phone?
plz explain more details about this new updates

i think this update like to erase flashloader new security , to reset mep 0 , b'coz full erase new security maybe not rebuild... bootrom area ......

with this feature you can erase flash OS regions. you can use it for dead blink phones wherever wipe full not resolve the problem ,phone restarting,corrupted data, ......,
this feature can help you to revive your dead BB if not hard problem exist. ...

you can do "read full info" and get data to enter the proper region to erase in your BB.

In new security devices only the ""ALLOWED REGIONS"" can be erase. not possible erase full.

and what's the function of erase if we can do a wipe, nuke??
the wipe and nuke erase the handset.

the new security handsets present the red led blinkin, so what's the purpose of erase,
and if erase can be used with cfp and it has the same problem:

with erase feature you can erase the specific area with specific length or the complete allowed area , sometimes wipe full is not enough...
