Description of flash files for SigmaKey - GSM-Forum

Boot-Loader v2.0 flash file archive houses a huge amount of flash files for MTK-based mobiles that can be used by SigmaKey software. In order to get the most out of Boot-Loader's archive you should understand what flash file's name means.

Lets take Alcatel OT-803 firmware, for instance

803X-2APMPT1_46H_XR46CP1A_JRD35_09B_PCB01_GPRS_MT6235B_S01.MAUI_09B_W09_52_SP1_V12_F4_DE_EN_ES_FR_PT_locked_00AD-00A1-0000-0015.mfw

Let's take a closer look at the flash file name:

803- name of the model, in our case it's Alcatel OT-803
X - baseband settings ("A": 850/1900 band, "X": 900/1800 band)
2APMPT1 - firmware branding (provider's settings)
XR46CP1A - security block version
MT6235 - chipset
DE_EN_ES_FR_PT - list of available languages
locked - means that after flashing phone will be locked
00AD-00A1-0000-0015 - "ID Flash", means that this firmware is intended for phones with specific flash memory
*.mfw - SigmaKey and Smart-Moto flash file format

How to find the higher version for your phone?

Take a look at this file
U8650 V100R001C151B859 (India).rar
U8650 V100R001C223B826(Malaysia General).rar
U8650 V100R001C96B852 (Russia).rar - this version is higher one
you see that all of these files` names have the different and the common part.

C9 > C1
and
C9 > C2

Compare these parts and you will find the higher firmware version for your phone.

Another example:
U8650 V100R001C151B859 (India).rar
U8650 V100R001C151B863SP02(India Trench).rar - this version is higher

why sigmakey cannot backup flash phone mtk after modified file for unlock the same cs-tools after can unlock i see its great i see only backup skb exetension its too difficult to flash and also cannot read fle..

Use original flasher to flash phones using original flash files.

dear team,

when i download sigma flash file form boot-loader and try to upload in sigma setup for flash its not upload in sigma setup and disappears

kindly assist me to solve out this prob
