@ zoiodopantano,

According to the information that was provided you have tried to connect phone via simple micro-USB cable.
In order to be able to perform unlock or other operation MTK based phone models has to be connected to PC via PC COM port via original COM data cable or using any COM port emulator.
Also, cable pinouts can be found in the "Pinouts and Drivers" section of SigmaKey official web site., please check`em. Cables that were manufactured by our team and was recommended to be used available by this link.

Best Regards

@ zoiodopantano,

These are MTK-based phone models. In order to be able to detect it and perform unlock/flash operation they suppose to be connected to PC via COM port cable or COM emulator, as it is stated at the official web site. EX-108 as other MTK-based sets can not be unlocked via simple mini/micro USB cable.
Also, at the official web site you can find correct cable pinouts.
Cables that was manufactured by our team working properly with all sets from EX-series.
It was already tested by many users.

Best Regards
GSMServer team

Exclamation

Another solution without opening the unit and solder wire is to use Chinese Box to find the pinouts for example GPGDragon and others to use them as an interface, just simply use the PCB (connector model 04A) P2 connector (headset) with 3-way and directly connect the device and to read the pinouts and woe can use to repair and peaceful SigmaKey flasher, I have done tests and it works well.

Other pinouts are here

daroas, read the manual once again.

Quote:
Press and hold "Power ON" button on the phone
As soon as SigmaKey shows an appropriate message in the log window, release "Power ON" button
It means that you have to press and hold the button for several seconds.

Another help for all.Everyone saw a little higher than I was with the error below on a EX108
Quote:
Baud rate: 19200
Baseband Processor: MT6235, HW Rev. C.00, SW Rev. A.01
Serial number: 216131688D46BBC900000000AC468BD1
Sending boot...Missing response from phone
Even after making an RJ45 cable with phone P2 I had the error in a model and only had success after formatting the device.
