[Guide] Unlock Alcatel OT-985 using SigmaKey
 
1.- Download this drivers ---> Drivers
2.- Connect the phone (power off) to install correctly the drivers and don't disconnect phone
3.- Open Sigma software and choose MTK platform
4.- Choose com port (will be FTEAM Port)
5.- Press Get unlock codes and wait some seconds for codes :)
6.- Power on phone with incorrect sim card to enter unlock code

Phone was from Movistar Mexico :)

Here is complete Direct Unlock manual for the MT6573 based phone models:

Direct Unlock
  1. Select "MTK" platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the software
  2. Go to "Unlock" tab
  3. Turn the phone off
  4. Connect turned off phone to PC with USB cable
  5. Install drivers for all devices that will appear in the system; reconnect the smartphone
  6. Important: use drivers from Sigma Support Area only!
  7. Select Android Gadget VCOM in the ports selection tab
  8. Press "Direct Unlock" button
  9. Message "Unlocking phone... Done" indicates that procedure was completed successfully
  10. Disconnect the handset. Remove and reinstall the battery

i follow all help instructions but failed

Repair IMEI operation is not supported for Alcatel OT-985 phone model, at the moment.

@ diesel6,

OT-985 is in the list "MTK Alcatel smartphones based on MT657X-MT658X: Direct Unlock (some models) / Read Unlock Codes (some models) / Calculate Unlock Code by IMEI". It shows that the Repair IMEI is not supported for this group of handsets.

Try using these drivers. Follow this procedure (Generic method).
