Security Backups for Qualcomm based smartphones - GSM-Forum

Dear Users,

We are looking for the security area backups from various Qualcomm based Huawei Android smartphones to improve Sigma and create new features for this group of devices.
The list of Huawei devices we need these backups from:

U8105
U8107
U8109
U8511
U8530
U8661
U8687
U8818
U8820
UM840

How to Save security Area:

Select Qualcomm platform
Connect phone in a Download/FastBoot mode
Go to "Service" tab
Press "Save Huawei Security Area" button and save readed file

Send this file along with the name of the phone model and log file to support[at]sigmakey.com or upload them in a current thread.

Hi, I have some ... I lost old ones after new windows install.

my backups:

U8500V100R001C00B669_EFS
U8180-1V100R001C00B620
ZTE BLADE III : ICS_P772N10_MTSV1.0.0B01 / ICS_P772N10V1.0.0B10
And couple of Huawei Y300 ...

p.s. It would be better idea, that software make backups in main software sub-folder ... just my opinion.

p.s.2: I had problem with one Y300, it was rooted, and recovery changed,
so it couldn't be unlocked, after I realised that, I flashed stock recovery and all passed well.
Question: can sigma detect phones with custom recovery, so we can know quick workaround ? (via some signature, rrecovery size, bla bla.)

@ Brka,

Unfortunately, Windows 7 doesn't allow to save files to c:\Program Files\GsmServer\SigmaKey\
But if you run Sigma Software with administrator account, you can choose manually where to save files, in the corresponding bookmark of Sigma Software.

this is the special file that sigma stores during the unlocking process and can be used by the developers for analysis purpose
