Post here log files from the operations, you've tried to perform.
Also, please provide us with full phone specification.

U8686 is not currently officially supported phone model.
Please check Supported Models web page at official web site fro complete list of all supported gadgets.

thegran, What CPU is this smartphone running on? Have you tried setting it to Fastboot / download mode and connecting it to Sigma?

Please post here screenshots of the VID & PID details of the DBA ADAPTER. This information available from the Device Manager.

How to define VID (Vendor ID), PID (Product ID), MI:

Run device manager
Right click on the required device
Properties
Details

You have chosen the wrong device to show it's VID and PID.

Find DBA Adapter reserved interface (COM XX) (as it is shown in the manual)

Enter phone in Download mode.
Run Device manager
Find DBA Adapter (as it is shown in the screenshots)
Press right mouse Button (as it is shown in the screenshots)
Select Properties (as it is shown in the screenshots)
Select Details (as it is shown in the screenshots)
Make a screenshot and post it here (as it is shown in the screenshots)
