cherrymobile snap SPD 6820/8810 backup firmware in bin format possible now?


hi,

I just want to know if the ff. operation can be done now safely for cherrymobile snap v1:

1. backup firmware in bin format

2. re-flash backuped bin format firmware

3. format safely

hoping somebody can share working and tested result for any of the above.

some spd android bin file supported better first read pac file then try bin file read write

that unit are long time supported.....spark and snap....it is safe to back up and format.

basie on the info above, is it safe to backup and format?

I read a while ago someone post that samsung flash chip have problems compared to hynix is this confirmed?here is the link please check.


hoping someone can shed light on this info so to greatly avoid messing up the phone.
