China i9500 clone bricked - Single SIM - Test Point?

Hi guys,

I just received my new Volcano box and Im trying to repair this chinese clone i9500.

When I connect the USB to my laptop it is discovered as Alcatel mplah mpla driver.

I used the box to read flash and it cannot be detected:

Available Ports:COM3 COM13
Detection initiated, connect the phone and power on it...
Vcc: null
Gnd: 5
Analyzing Rx and Tx...
Some mobile phone must have VCC or GND pins set in order to detect pinouts. Detection requires a longer period of time, please be patient...
Failed to detect.
>>Pinouts are not fonud (typo :P)!

Can you please identify Test-point from the picture or guide me how to repair this brick?

BR,
George

ok I will explain what happened and maybe you can point me to the right steps..

I tried to flash this phone with a new firmware but it had the wrong preloader...after that the phone cannot be seen by FLASHTOOL... I either need to use FORCE PRELOADER MODE but I do not know the test-point or maybe the Volcano box can write a new preloader to the flash memory and then I can use Flashtool to restore the phone..

The question is can I write a new preloader or a complete firmware (boot, cache, kernel, logo, recovery, system etc) to the phone using Volcano?

If so how do I do this? Using P-05B cable on the box and some settings on the software?

Thank you in advance.
George

PS: this is a great box and I hope I can learn to use it properly - I only bought it today and Im a bit lost... I regularly use Riff-box, Micro-box and other boxes but this one seems to be the king

thank you very much will try that! ..one thing ..the driver you provided cannot install - some error with characters of destination path not supported... is there an english version? I found a "PC Link Manager online" thats supposed to be for cynus? Should I use that or you could point me to another driver download? I did google it but there seems to be no linking to these drivers..

BR,
George

edit: found these: http://d-h.st/2Hn... is it good?
