Galaxy S4 MT6589 Error Repair IMEI - GSM-Forum

Phone is working , but it shows INVALID IMEI on screen.

When I try to fix it with volacano , it shows me this error ;

  Please Switch off device and switch on again??
  Waiting for device to connect...
  Rechecking Imei
  Found Device...0123456789ABCDEF
  IMEI 1= Can't find service: iphonesubinfo
  IMEI 2= Can't find service: iphonesubinfo2
  Write IMEI done, reboot please.

This reads inforamtion only via usb cable with usb debuggin on.

If i connect to pinout cable ( P - 07A ) it doesn't even connect to the software.

If i tick 65xx New Method , then it just says this :

Here I try to connect phone in all ways..
powered on,
powered off with battery and insert cable.
recovery mode , etc.

But doens''t connect.

Have any Idea what to do ?

Please follow the correct instructions. Insert sim cards and try again.

I tried that method .

Also tried with 3 different SIM cards
And without SIM cards
But still got same error .

Volcano says Sim Card Not inserted .

On phone , got no network ,
It's says INVALID IMEI - Vodafone

you need to use the new method mark to new method 65xxx and try once again ,

Can you please try to write imei in 1st box write with 86xxxxxxxxxxx and in 2nd box 35xxxxxxxxxxx also try both 86xxxxxxxxx and post me results
go to MTK TAB
do Enable imei
click on Android tool
click on Run
click on MTK 65xx New Method
Fill imei in boxes
click on Write imei
when software saying searching for port
Insert Usb cable to phone in powered OFF condition !!
waiting software for process complete
after 2 secs your imei repair

Possible problems :

You Drivers are conflicting
You Drivers port are High like 50~200
You didn't install 2nd time drivers
your 1st time drivers com port is ok but 2nd time drivers com port is high
Wrong Drivers installed
Windows problem

With IMEI 86xxxx and 35xxxx same error .
With 65xx New Method Ticked... it doesn't detect phone.

Just need to confirm one thing ,

When i tick 65xx New Method. I am connecting phone power off and connect usb.
Is that right or some other method to connect cable ?

5. Now Connect To PC
When Software Searching For Port Then Just Off Phone , Don't Disconnect USB

Note - Downgread Usb Port In 15

Thanks for all suggestions.

All above method doesn't work for me.

At the moment I was working on Windows 7.

I gonna install XP-SP3 on my another laptop. Will post result tomorrow.

In the mean time, can someone provide me the correct CDC DRIVERS ?
