MTK or SPD

In Android mobile phone how can we detect whether it is MTk ic or SPD ic without opening the set.

I can't say about fully dead mobile but just connect half dead mobile, it start to install driver, right that time, driver says itself on the right button of monitor- SPD or MTK.

Its Simple !!
Plug in USB Data cable to Mobile and Connect to Pc
Pc will Ask for Drivers,
Check there which Driver Asking , Mostly Phones Shows CPU Chip Details

Few Mobile Sets Need to Test !! by Opening ,

canect power cable to phone if dc miter show 3/4 since and zero it SPD. and not show any sence its normal mtk

Only for feature phones / Power on phone and dial +send button

1-Mtk = *#0000# it will show some info or auto change language to english
2-Spd = *#0044# Language auto become English
3-Rda = *#3696# will show Usb mode open on screen

For android phones / power off phone press any key connect cable phone to pc

1-Mtk = Phone will ask for vcom preloader driver or cdc drivers in device manager
2=Spd= Phone will ask usb to serial com or diag driver .
