Both are cable Supported ..
If you use Normal USB Cable you must need to press boot key ..
Or if you use P05B(jig) ..
No need to press boot key ..
Just Connect Volcano main cable with P05B(jig) ..
& Do you Job ..

Hello ...

If you Use RX/TX via P05B(jig) on spd chip ..
Its not support ..
Because your phone have VCC/D-/D+/Boot/GND paint ..
Only USB mode [D+/D-] Support P05B(jig) ..
If you work with RX/TX [Com Port] ..
You must sold RX/TX point on Phone PCB ..

Do as said by other members.
U didn't follow them correctly.

1 Sold RX & TX points to the pcb.
2 Open volcano detect tab.
3 select detect type as 'spd(rx&tx).
4 then click on detect.
5 After detection completed, click on set pinout.
6 Then select boot 2 in spd tab.
7 Change baudrate to 11500.
8 Select read flash, untick auto detect pinout. Then press run.

Here u don't need to press boot key.
Note: u must install the spd driver before doing any operations.

Post result.
