Yes in some case.....you need more power than the power cable clip volt..(volt from box).. FOR THAT YOU CAN USE 9V EXTERNAL POWERSUPPLY, OR USE THE PHONE BATTEREY ITSELF .(WITH MINIMUM 50% BATTERY CHARGED.)
