Open "Volcano tool" Click on MTK tab (the tabs on the left part). Clik on the button "MTK New platform V2.0" on the bottom. When new skreen opened click on the tab "Tools" on the upper part the left one. Then on the menu under "Port refresh" choose "by USB" Then under "Phone brand" choose Alcatel. Under it choose "OT-2005" Then there is 3 buttons on the bottom "Read info", "Reset user code" and "Unlock phone". Choose the "Unlock phone". Push one button on the keys of the phone. I was pushing "2" and insert the USB cable on the phone. The PC will see it and will install drivers. After that the Volcano soft will do the rest. Here it is the log the soft showed: "DA version: 5.1316.00.00 USER SELECTION : UNLOCK. MODEL SELECTED : OT-2005 Connect phone in boot mode ... Com port ok : COM11 Phone detected...Please wait Download DA now...You can release power on Backup saved to : C:\VolcanoUtility_v2.9.9_Volcano Module\bin6\alcapid_backup\OT-2005\secro_backup_11-09-2015-10-22-03.bin Getting phone info .... BaseBand CPU:MT6250_S0001 FLASH TYPE : NOR ID: NOR : (128Mb+64Mb) [WINBOND] W25Q128FW size:0x01000000 INT RAM: 424Kb RAM: 64Mb SRAM BOOT STYLE :S_SF_FLASH_BOOT(1031) Phone Succussfully Unlocked. Finalization :S_DONE(0) ALL DONE." and after that I tested the phone with 3 different sim of different providers and it was wotking. Regards | |
