FAILED (Device record missing)

Hi folks getting this error and can't connect any phone:

4SE - tool 1.8.5 (S/N:0000000.....
Selected model: Vivaz™ pro (U8)
Selected operation: Read info
Selected interface: USB (EROM)
Checking USB driver status...FAILED (Device record missing)
Remove battery, wait a few seconds and insert it back
Plug USB cable holding "Green" button

Phone will not connect. Any ideas? Tnx.

BTW I have installed the drivers in the 4SE app folder etc

install drivers manually in device manager for this phone and try to read info again

when you hold GREEN button or as you say any phone not connecting ... for example if you have any phone when software say PLUG usb cable by holding anykey like "C" or "BACK" or "GREEN" is your Computer asking for Drivers ?

Its a driver issue, plug the cable in another USB port, or install teamviewer and ill have a look. PM me your teamviewer ID

Hi, if you run installer - not means drivers are installed.
Need to watch the installation process and what the installer shows you in the end.
You have NOT installed the drivers propertly. Driver installation need to start from Start->Applications->4SE menu
What OS you have (type and bits)?
Have admin rights?
