Customer not happy about that ? He takes back his phone.
Or he can buy a really expensive code from operator.
Hi,
You have said your opinion.
Why are we not hearing anything from the horse's own *****? Furthermore, when customers take back their phones, what about our credits? Are they going to be paid back to us? Is this fair?
Let the BOSS himself comment on the situation!

clearly were quick to charge money for something you do not know if I was going to work.

I think it would have to miss having free and when tested was 100% then start selling.

I agree with that. However in 4se team defence, they did announce downtime
What they could have done better was explained more details.

1.
at the moment, any 3rd-party service, which able to unlock current sony/semc phones is based on sony server, which generate simlock signature.
server requires so-called "authentication dongle", which is just, basically, ssl certificate for access to SECS server.
to generate simlock signature, one require EMMA username/password and secs dongle should be registered to that username.
in any simlock signature, generated by secs server, there is timestamp, when signature done and secs dongle serial number.
there is no known way to trick secs server to hide that information.

2.
from reading p.1 one should clearly understand : somc security team will block any dongle, which was used for 3rd-party software in public in few days.

after that, service center, which own dongle/emma login will suffer.
first time, probably, service center owner could just tell "dongle/login/password was stolen somehow, we will strengthen security, etc "
however, after second/etc time, service center will lose somc authorization and will suffer greatly from legal issues.

ergo:

1.
do not ever buy any credits for 3rd-party service, which based on secs equipment in advance.
buy as much credits as you need, no more.

2.
never rely on such service, it WILL BE STOPPED after some time.
catch the moment.

3.
finally, you using 3rd-party equipment, which is result of hack/research/etc of original semc data.
what warranty you talking about ?

want a warranty - buy a toaster.

@obama2:
RSA 2048 and flawless s1 security are the lions

@darkmen:
"rest of us" should understand, that buying credits in advance for "solution", which based on top of official service is just waste of money.
"all of us" should understand, that any public secs dongle usage is waste of dongle
